    Re: Winter riding

Been using ACF50 on mine for 16 years October to March. I apply with a micro cloth and spray into the lid and brush into places l can't get the cloth to.
It's now done over 102k and no rust and a recent photo of it.

I'm not sure yet, my eagerness to get back into riding will probably make me want to ride over the winter but I've not decided yet. Either way it will be getting the ACF-50 treatment as the elements might still get to it even in the garage. I've heard of some crystals or something that you can buy that help remove moisture from the atmosphere so I'll be looking into putting something like that in the garage too. I'm still undecided on a bike cover as some say it makes the bike 'sweat' and lead to more corrosion, but maybe they're the non breathable ones?
