    Sliip Ons

    Hi all
I`m looking at fitting a new slip on exhaust to my 2018 Sport Glide, purely for the sound. Can anyone please advise, the Cobra 909 seems a good option but i`d prefer not to have to re-map. Thanks

try TAB with 2.5 baffles but Alex may confirm that with all pipe modifications a remap will give you the best of both worlds

Yep - increased noise is the result of increased air flow. More air flow without added fuel to compensate means more heat and less power ...

And the last thing you need on the otherwise stock set-up is to go leaner!

I'm very happy with S&S 4in Grand National slip-ons. (Has removeable ''decibel killer'' discs but I have retained them as the bike burbles real nice with them in.) And the matching air intake. Catless headers. AND the tune that followed.

Thanks for the input, I thought that it wouldn't be as simple as just slipping one on.

Yep, you have to be careful with the carburation on these modern bikes. Not like the old shovels of course. You can get away with it a bit on those. Just saying.............

Screaming eagle do a slip on that doesn’t need remapping ,nearly added it to my new sport glide in my local dealers today ,I think for 500quid the sound difference is minimal so declined ,

Were those the SE ''Street Cannons''? Widely derided as offering a stock-like sound. EPA-friendly.
