Just like those old Sturmey-Archer rear gear hubs, three is all you need!

I like the bit in the car slowing down from 60mph. Brand new clocks!

A brilliant piece from simpler times. I often wonder when it was that the powers-that-be decided public information films were too patronising and condescending for the masses, irrespective of their benefit. As we enter darker nights and unlit cyclists put both us and them at risk, I can't help recall the one where the driver shouts 'Your rear light!' to a kid he nearly knocks off his bike. It still works for me 50 years on.
