    Classic Mechanics Show.

    Hi Everybody.

    I went on Saturday.

Spottted this outside, no price on it.

Also outside was a US EVO Glide with various parts missing.

In the Bonhams auction were the 4 bikes Warrs were selling the 2 EVO Dynas (Sturgis and 50th Anniversary of Daytona)
along with the first FXST and a red 57 Sportster, that I mentioned on here a few months ago.
I don't know what they went for.

    On the balcony were these.

The red one I have seen at the VMCC Frestival of 1000 Bikes, it has a B21 or B31 bottom end with the
front cylinder of a shovel, the WLC had a special reverse gearbox on it.

There was one stall selling old HD parts and aftermarket they had this WLC and Peashooter engines for sale.

Apart from a couple of chops/bobbers on the North West Customs stand, I didn't any other HD's.
I saw a few people with HD clothing but didn't recognise any of them.

This could be another show the club can look into having a stand at next year or 2021 if next year is full.

The Warrs bikes went for. Sturgis and Daytona each sold for £10925 including commission. The 57 Sportster went for £17250.

Assuming that 45 engine is rebuilt well, if the tag is £2750 it's not a bad price.

Regarding Fred's 57 Ironhead; my tale of being shilled on a similar bike by a certain independent some years ago is fairly well known, but a few months prior to that, another 57 (AFAIK the only other in the UK back then) went through the Stafford auction. It was one year I didn't go since I'd recently moved to Wales. That bike went for £3850 if memory serves, and it was mint; nobody recognised what it was so it just went for a bit more than regular Ironhead money at the time.

Ah, the ones that got away......
    Much less involved.....
