Time for a winter update

Looks like audiophile mega speaker wire - very neat.

Masking stripped off. I just need to touch up a couple of bits of blue where it had bled under the masking tape. Then I’ll need to airbrush some shadows to give it a bit of depth.

The tips of the flames look much more alive on the new version. Like they're licking the air. I can understand why you went to so much trouble to get it right.

I finally got the handlebars finished today. The last job was to make up and fit the hydraulic line for the clutch. I do like the way the bleed system works on these handlebars, you fill the master cylinder and then push the piston in with a bolt to force the fluid through to the brake or clutch and then fill the master cylinder up again. The whole process takes 5 minutes and works 1st time. I’m just waiting for the paint to fully go off on the digital dash before I fit that.

I’ve got the digital dash back on now so I thought I’d put the tank on temporarily to see what the flames look like.

Then I got my Mrs to add some drop shadows in photoshop to see how it would look. I’m pleased with the shadows, I think they really add depth.
