    Sportster rocker base gaskets

    Hi all,
Had a small weep of oil from my wife's 2008 sporty (Buel engine) rear rocker base gasket for some time. I've got the fuel tank off for painting so thought I would replace the gaskets, they were metal with a orange silicone covering, the Harley replacements now seem to be plane stamped metal.
My question is, does anyone know if they should go on dry, or should I use a gasket silicone, or Hylomar type of sealant. I cannot find this info in the manual.

All steel gaskets go on dry. I clean the area with brake cleaner first to make sure there's no oil residue there ...
