    Bar end start

    Hey guys

    any one seen and got any expierence with these? ive never seen one and its getting harder and harder to push it in to start . any one know how these come apart or what i should do to start / where can i find any info on them would be awesome.

    any help greatly apreciated.

    Was Hogjob, now Oddjob same $h*t different name.

    Not the standard WD40. As that dries it leaves a residue which is no good for anything electrical.

    You could use the new WD40 specialist.

    I’ve tried that and the button itself is free moving it’s more like I have to push it in further - like the contact is getting further away if that makes sense ?

    Makes sense depending on what form the base contact is but it looks like your only option is to pull the switch and examine. Never seen one of those before on a bike but I would imagine it has to slide in from the bar end and is possibly located with a grub screw or something.

    It's obviously a custom job; I've never seen anything like it in thirty years of owning Harleys.
