I think the wd40 does the same as the S100 Motorcycle Corrosion Protectant

But not as good as S100 Motorcycle Engine Brightener
Got a bike with a black engine that just isn’t so black anymore?

Bikers like you told the makers of S100 they needed special help in this area and they listened!

S100 Engine Brightener can take a tired, greyed-out engine and make it look almost factory-new again! Just clean the engine and dry, then spray on our temperature stable S100 Engine Brightener.

S100 Engine Brightener. Great stuff - turns grey-black black and removes fungus from alloy. From your friendly local Harley dealer

Yep I agree with Roger - S100. It'll do it every time. I've just run out of my can but I'll be getting some more as soon as the old gal is back on the road

Excellent stuff, cheap too. We use it by the gallon. Lasts for four or five washes.
Works well on wrinkle finish brake calipers & all other dulled items too (obviously don`t get it on the brake disc!).

    engine black

    Hi y'all

what do we use for the black bits, engine cooling fins, black plasticy bits etc to keep them looking black and nice?

I've made the mistake of using some silicon based polish for the tank and the dust has stained the matt black on the engine, the plasticy bit by the ignition etc.

it now looks crap - sort of water stained.
